Army ROTC Nonscholarship

If a member of the Army Reserve or Army National Guard, these students are required to participate in the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), which will entitle them to receive additional financial benefits through the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while completing their degree program as an Army ROTC cadet.

Students can participate in ROTC without a scholarship and will receive the ROTC stipend benefits during their junior and senior year once contracted.

Schools - Programs in Army ROTC at UCCS

The program is centered on teaching the principles of leadership, attributes and competencies of Army leaders. These principles apply to positions in the military or in civilian careers. All courses of instruction develop leadership and management skills as well as enhance the self-confidence, and initiative of each student.
